Once again I seem to be on the “tail” end of things
Posted in Blatherings on 10/10/2009 11:23 am by MicheleFor some reason I got sick early last night and threw up everything but my toenails. An evil, but conservative gypsy put a curse on me for posting that photo of the unfortunate woman wearing only her birthday suit under the see-thru raincoat. Let me tell you, I paid dearly for posting that. Madam Zelda, for God’s sake, please lift the curse. We’re supposed to go to a birthday party tonight.
Anyway, since I have the misieries today, the post will be short and sweet. Here’s a video clip that 700,000 people have already seen. It’s about Sirocco, a cute, pudgy, flightless parrot from New Zealand. Since there are only 124 of them in the world, each one is very special. This little guy was born with a respiratory illness and needed immediate human intervention to save his life. They saved his life. However in the process he imprinted with humans and cannot be released into the wild. What you see in the following clip is the result. The clip stops and starts a bit. Please be patient.
The clip is short. Be sure to listen all the way through to catch the comments provided by the zoologist’s friends. They are priceless. Assuming I recover from this bug I’ll be back tomorrow.Today’s trivia answer-London.
