I receive emails from Care2 causes.com everyday. It’s one of the few that I make sure that I always read before hitting the delete button. The site covers a wide variety of topics. Today, one of their stories was about 8 remarkable animals that saved their owner’s lives. I’d heard before about dogs and even dolphins that have saved people. However, I’ve never heard stories like those I read today; pigs, goats and beluga whales? Fascinating. My MIL Betty believes that animals aren’t intelligent. (It’s one of those topics I quit debating about with her years ago.) This is the same woman that not only restricted their family dog to living downstairs, but then only in certain rooms. Last night we had three dogs on the bed with us. Of course, I woke up with my legs hanging off the side of the bed this morning. Oh well, life goes on. I’ve always said my house has gone to the dogs.
The Care2causes site also has free ecards that you can send. Access them at care2.com. They’re great! They have over a hundred cards to choose from covering every major holiday. Some of them even have music or are designed where you can insert your own photos. The cartoon dog in today’s post came from one of their cards.
