I had a pedicure yesterday.  I splurge on those in the summer since I wear flip-flops about 80% of the time.

I never had a real hang up about my feet. They were always just feet after all and I always kinda liked the way mine looked. I wore a size 6.5 shoe when I met Doug. Now I wear a 7.5.

My predecessor, AKA the slut, must’ve had ginormous feet. (She wore a 13.)

Doug said she didn’t stay here in  the summertime. (I told him it was probably because she was working with Smokey the Bear stomping out wildfires out West.)

Actually she had to make extra $$ so she could afford the finest coochiewear and 5″ stilettos that she wore to work everyday as a realtor.

Sorry, meandering.

Doug and I always had a difference of opinion when it came to toes. My toes are nice and neat, each one slightly shorter than it’s neighbor. My toes are on the short side. Doug calls them “Fred Flintstone toes”.

So here’s my feet-

I’ve noticed online that most of the foot models have toes slightly longer than mine. However, most of them are tidy, just like mine. My feet are bunion, corn and fungus free. I’d give my feet a solid 80. (I’d give them a 100 but I have a scar on my left foot from surgery after a co-ed volleyball mishap, and they are a smidge on the wide side.

Doug’s toes are all long (kinda fingery), but his 2nd toe is much longer than the 3rd. Doug also has extremely long arms, not sideshow long, but longer than most guys his height.

(I always told him it was just a lot easier for his ancestors to get around up in the canopy with that one toe on each foot being extra long like it is and his unnaturally long arms)

Lucky for us we were able to love each other even though are toes are so very different.

I’ve seen on Discovery Health people that’ve learned to use their feet like their hands because they were born without arms or had an accident. Doug could do that in a snap. Me, not so much.

I’d heard about this before but just found this info on it.

I win the battle of the toes!

Cute feet! I love feet. I once new a girl with the most beautiful feet I ever saw. Unsurprisingly she was a foot model at one time. She (only her feet) were shown in shoe adds for magazines and once for TV.
She could move any toe independently of the others either up and down, wiggle or in a circle. She could even pinch with them!

Thanks for the compliment. She sounds like she was very talented. My toes aren’t nearly that industrious. They just all chill together.
