Gizmo is well enough for a road trip so he’s on a road trip to Austin with us. Little Bit is along for the trip too. We came to Austin to see Brett and so I could meet the Midlife Gals. We met for happy hour and we laughed for 2 hours straight. These women are seriously twisted and a must visit for anyone who’s got a chromosomal abnormality of some kind.
I finally feel like I’ve found the sisters I was separated from at birth. The three of us have decided to embark on a project. However, we’ve taken an oath to keep it under wraps. Just keep a good thought for us.
I took the photos of our boys with an older phone while riding in the car. I realize that the quality isn’t the best; but I wanted to share them anyway.
We stopped in to see Brett DJ tonight. It was so loud I could feel my fillings vibrate. Gizmo started to quiver. I was afraid he might start seizing again, so I ran him outside. I should buy stock in Miracle Ear. This whole generation of 20-30′s somethings is gonna be stone deaf soon. I’m sure of it.
I had to give Gizmo his meds tonight at the Mellow Mushroom. I took the syringe and ran some water over it at the fountain after I came him his meds. It didn’t cross my mind not to, it didn’t have a needle in it or anything. I guess I was brain dead, cause the manager came running out to me afterward. “Did you just was a syringe at my fountain?” “Yeah.” Needless to say I had some explaining to do.
Thank God he was OK after I explained. Hey I was here going to UT in 1969. That explains a lot. 
We’re supposed to be spending the night at Brett’s tonight. Wish us luck. Have a great Sat.
Oh, what sweet little things they are and how great to see little Gizmo looking so perky! I hope all went well at Brett’s.

Hi Miss Kim. Gizmo is doing great. He and Bit just got up from an afternoon nap after a big morning at dog park and eating out at lunch. Everything with Brett is good. He’s DJ’ing tonight from 8-2am. Better he than me.

Thanks so much for that. Getting Gizmo better has been a joint effort for sure. I know all our friends prayers played a big part.
They look like they are having a fun time. I can’t tell you how happy I am that Gizmo is getting better every day.

The boys did have a great time today. The weather was perfect and of course all the Austinites and all their dogs were welcoming as usual. Sorry kiddo, but we’ve gotta keep a lid on the secret for now. But it’s a biggie!
Giz and Little Bit are so damn cute, M! What a great thing, you getting to meet the MidLife gals and bonding so immediately with them. I love when that happens.
P.S. OMG on the poor wee doggies getting blasted with that insane level of noise. I’m glad you got them out of there. (I won’t be rude and mention the syringe thing, hahahaaaaaaa.)
Thanks for the compliment. (The boys take after Doug.) The MidLife Gals are really crazy. You would just love them. As soon as I saw that Gizmo was trembling because of the noise, I got him outta there. Yeah the syringe thing. I was brain dead for sure.
You 3 planned a project and laughed for TWO HOURS? That project is going to take a few more happy hours just to make sure you have it nailed down properly. After all, gotta pay attention to details, doncha know?
You three are just lucky the Fun Police were not on your trail.
Giz looks good. Life seems to be making up to him for all the misery that was his earlier.

Oh we don’t have all the details nailed down. We’re far from it. But if it comes to fruition, it will be a great thing. Giz is looking good. I think that Red Barn food has really helped.

Giz tends to be everyone’s favorite because he’s just so small. The whole pack is just great though. You’d really love them all if you ever met them. Daisy, our Westie mix, is a real sweetheart.
